chapter 3 questions

What was David’s unfortunate luck of what? David’s unfortunate luck was getting caught at mischief, even though his brothers were committing the same crime.
2.Did his brother get the same punishments? Give example
No his brothers dose not get the same punishments as him. His brothers get treated better than him for example when they all are playing around mother only comes to him and yells a him for no reason and the other two continue to play.
3.What did Mother do to display a character change? Can you relate this to anyone in your life? Mother displayed her character as being a loving and caring mother in front of the boy scouts and the boys told the boy that they wish they have a mother like his. No I can not say I can relate this situation to anyone in my life.
4.What does it mean to him when he saw his mother in a nice dress? Seeing his mother in a nice dress means to him that she seems nicer when she's all dressed up she's not as mean.
5.What is the different between corner treatment and mirror treatment? Which one do you prefer? why?
the difference between the corner treatment and the mirror treatment is that the mirror treatment is more hurtful she bangs his face against the mirror and leaving his face against the mirror as he cry's dreadfully. I wouldn’t prefer neither because that cruel I would have ran away already.
6.What would he often fantasize about, why? He would often fantasize about being a happy family because he gets beat up for no reason and he doesn't know why.
7.How was life like with father around? Can you relate to him? When father is around he is like the little boys protector mother doesn't even pay attention to him.

9.What was the first major abuse from mom? Describe what happened.
the first major abuse from mother dislocated his arm . 10.Why did mom tell him to sleep top bunk? What was her plan?
Mother told him to sleep on the top because she broke his arm her plan was to take him to the hospital and say he fell off the top bunk bed.
11.What was school like for him? School for him was like freedom her was a free man there he loved to go to school his favorite was playing at recess.
12.even though mom treated him poorly, what was his feeling for her?
he loved his mother no matter what even when he was away from her he still wanted to with her and his family.
13.What happens when he tries to tell her his feelings? When he tries to tell her his feelings she gets more furious and beats him more.

if he wants to live he has to sit there and take the pain.

the way mother feels about Ron is very caring she very proud of him and treats him better.

Chapter 1:The rescue
1.Describe the setting of the story
The setting takes place in the child's home.
2.Describe how mother is? What kind of character is she?
the mother is very mean and evil she hits her her children for no reason she is a child abuser character.
3.Provide 2 examples of how her character is.
her character is very cruel just hitting her child satisfy her another example of her character is she gets mad for no reason and takes her anger out on her son shes very cruel and evil.
4.How is he treated in school? Who takes care of him?
the child is treated very bad the students plug their noses an hiss at him.the teacher waves her hand in front of her face from the stench. his mom takes care of him but his mom is going to send him to live with his uncle her brother.
5.Describe his appearance.
the boy's appearances is very smelly and disturbing he's worn the same close for 2 years.
6.How is the police involved?
the police came because the principle called after they seen all the bruises on the child.
Chapter 2: Good times
1.What does he compare his family to, why?
He compares his family to the Brady bunch of the 1960's.

Stephen Joseph his father who supported them as a fireman. Catherine Rovera mother she always had good ideas. brothers like playing outside with friends. Himself a boy that is alone in this world he is very confused.
3.P. 19 “with mom everything turned to gold.” what does he mean by this quote?
he means that when his mom touches things there gold because she is gifted in everything she dose.
4.Describe What is Christmas like at the house?
For Christmas they went all out and put up Christmas lights, ornaments and each year someone was honored to put the star on the top of the tree.

When he says everyday feels like a sprinkle of magic i s because everything was going good for him he was learning new things.

He felt safe and warm in his mother arms.
