Chapter 1:The rescue
1.Describe the setting of the story
The setting takes place in the child's home.
2.Describe how mother is? What kind of character is she?
the mother is very mean and evil she hits her her children for no reason she is a child abuser character.
3.Provide 2 examples of how her character is.
her character is very cruel just hitting her child satisfy her another example of her character is she gets mad for no reason and takes her anger out on her son shes very cruel and evil.
4.How is he treated in school? Who takes care of him?
the child is treated very bad the students plug their noses an hiss at him.the teacher waves her hand in front of her face from the stench. his mom takes care of him but his mom is going to send him to live with his uncle her brother.
5.Describe his appearance.
the boy's appearances is very smelly and disturbing he's worn the same close for 2 years.
6.How is the police involved?
the police came because the principle called after they seen all the bruises on the child.
Chapter 2: Good times
1.What does he compare his family to, why?
He compares his family to the Brady bunch of the 1960's.

Stephen Joseph his father who supported them as a fireman. Catherine Rovera mother she always had good ideas. brothers like playing outside with friends. Himself a boy that is alone in this world he is very confused.
3.P. 19 “with mom everything turned to gold.” what does he mean by this quote?
he means that when his mom touches things there gold because she is gifted in everything she dose.
4.Describe What is Christmas like at the house?
For Christmas they went all out and put up Christmas lights, ornaments and each year someone was honored to put the star on the top of the tree.

When he says everyday feels like a sprinkle of magic i s because everything was going good for him he was learning new things.
6.Where does he feel the safe and warm?
He felt safe and warm in his mother arms.
